Jimby is designed to know as little about you as it can. This page lists everything we hold and why.
This website
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies.
- One cookie keeps you signed in, and one protects forms from cross-site attacks. Neither is shared with anyone.
Your account
- Email address, to send sign-in links and messages about your account.
- Your Macs: the name you gave each one, a fingerprint of its public key, and when it was last online.
- Your plan and the IDs Paddle uses for your subscription. We never see or store your card details.
The relay
To connect your devices, the relay sees their IP addresses, their public-key fingerprints, and when and how much they talk to each other. Your screen and your typing are encrypted end to end: the relay cannot read them, and we don't record them. Connection logs are used to block abuse and kept for at most 30 days.
Payments
Paddle.com is the merchant of record for Jimby. When you subscribe, Paddle processes your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy.
We send sign-in links and account messages only. No newsletter unless you ask for one.
Your rights
You can delete your account from the account page at any time, which removes your data from our systems. For a copy of your data or any other request under the GDPR, write to [email protected].
